  Hi everything ! Welcome back to " Reading Journey With Sonson"

So in this occasion I'll talk about folklore / legend  in my city. It used to say there was a bride and groom in Wali Sanga period that  never approved by all the both families, so the bride and the groom runaway from their families with riding a carriage that drawn by buffalo. So they drove down the river but because the strong current from the river they were swept away with that current and fall down to the bottom of the waterfall, because that this waterfall called " Jurang Nganten " in Bahasa Jawa / Javanese Language or " Bridal Abyss " 

    

   I like this story and quickly remembered  this story  because this story happened near my village. This waterfall located in Tanjung Village, Pakis Aji sub-district, Jepara regency, Central java.
