What I Think or What I Don't Think About Reading

 

          

          Hello everyone ! Welcome back to another page of " Reading Journey With Sonson".

Here i want to discussing about these 8 statements about read English, there are ;

1.  Reading in my first language is fun.
2. Reading English is difficult.
3. I usually look up new words in my dictionary
4. Reading English is boring 
5. It is easier to read about sport than science.
6. If i read very fast, it is hard to understand the meaning.
7. Reading loud-out is a good idea.
8. Reading English is fun.

    I think i'd agree with the first statement because if you read something with your first language you will be more convenient to understand what you'll read, and that will decrease the chance of misunderstanding when you read something. And when you read something in your first language you'll able to most all of books from the light to heavy content.

    For the second one why people think read in English is difficult because not all people have enough vocabularies to understand all of the context of the books that they're read. Not only that English has various uncommon terms that common people don't know .

    Then for the third and fourth statements, for me myself i often don't look-up new words on the dictionary because, usually i more pay attention on the sentence where that word belong so i can know what that word means in general. Don't follow me guys that's a bad way to learn new words actually. For the fourth one why usually people think reading English is boring because common people always go back to dictionary for looking-up for some word meaning and go forth to continuing read English and that's why many people in that way. Because that trick are too complicated and took some times, and that make you lost the mood to read.

 

    For the fifth statement, again like i write above why sport is more easy to understand is because sport terms are more commonly used and well-known in the people in general so we'll not find some difficulty in reading English sport context.

     for the sixth statement, if i read something really fast i just get the 30% of the context, so i prefer more to read in the normal speed so i can get the context clearly without any misunderstanding.

    For the seventh statement for i myself, i prefer to read in silence, because i'll more focused so i can understand what i just read.

    And for the last but not least, i think still 50/50 about read in English is fun it's always depends on what i read because if i read something that attractive it'll be fun of course, but if i read something that make me frustrated it will make my mood fly-away.
