Listening Report #1

   

   

    Hello, again people! It's been a long time to see you on this platform course, and now I'll make my listening reports through this blog.

    I've been listening to a children's story entitled Henry & Leslie by Debora Dyess that I found on YouTube on Friday, February 4th, 2021.

  This podcast told a boy called Henry that has some things that he can do better than his friends. Though, sometimes he makes mistakes and got mocked by his friends. But it's never stopping him to loves himself. Also, there is a girl called Leslie asking Henry why he never looks sad when their friends are mocking him, but Henry tells her that he always thinks about what he good at, and it makes him, even more, loving himself.   

  To be honest. I like this story a lot because this story told us to love our-self and accept our true-self. Because these days a lot of people throw their selves out to match other standards. I think it's not necessary to put yourself in a situation that can make others happy but, its hurting you from the inside.
